Shenyang Cell Center (SYCC) Achieves Third ISO 9001 Recertification

Shenyang Cell Center (SYCC) has successfully completed its third ISO 9001 recertification, reaffirming its commitment to high-quality management in cell manufacturing and storage. This achievement highlights SYCC’s dedication to adhering to internationally recognized standards for operational excellence and continuous improvement.

On May 7–8, 2024, Northeast Certification Co., Ltd., conducted a two-day audit of SYCC in accordance with GB/T 19001-2016/ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System standards. The audit evaluated several critical aspects of SYCC’s operations, including:

 

· Environmental assessments
· Customer satisfaction surveys
· Internal audits and management reviews
· Staff training programs
· Equipment calibration
· Laboratory safety protocols

 

In addition to document reviews, the audit also included an in-depth on-site inspection of SYCC’s laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with rigorous quality benchmarks. Successfully meeting these standards, SYCC secured ISO 9001 certification for the 2024.05–2027.05 cycle.

 

ISO 9001, developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), is the globally recognized benchmark for quality management systems. It demonstrates an organization’s capability to deliver reliable products and services that meet both customer expectations and regulatory requirements.

 

SYCC’s recertification reflects its leadership in cell manufacturing and storage in Northeast China, as well as its role in supporting advancements in cell-based therapies. By maintaining a strong focus on quality, SYCC continues to drive innovation and contribute to the field of biotherapies.
